Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Property, Casualty and Motor Claims Handler to join our team on a full-time and permanent basis. In this role you are a passionate problem solver who is accountable for finding solutions, and will play a pivotal role in managing property, casualty, and motor insurance claims, ensuring timely and efficient resolution while maintaining excellent client relationships and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

Manage property, casualty, and motor insurance claims from initiation to settlement, adhering to PRFC’s policies and procedures.
Investigate and assess the validity of claims, gathering relevant information and documentation as required.
Liaise with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders to gather information, provide updates, answer inquiries, and negotiate settlements.
Collaborate closely with team members to streamline processes, share knowledge, and deliver truly exceptional service to our clients.
Utilize your strong problem-solving skills to resolve complex claims issues effectively and efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of claims activities and ensure compliance with our internal and external requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience in property, casualty, and motor claims handling within the insurance industry is preferred.
Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and have strong organizational and time management skills that allow you to attend to multiple concurrent tasks.
Strong proficiency in MS Office applications and the ability to quickly assimilate to new software.
A willingness to commit to formal continuing professional development.
